The 50-minute, round-trip heritage steam train journey takes you up the steep (1-in-37 slope) elevation out of Picton, through the Para Wetlands, across the Wairau River, through the Wairau Valley and a sea of vineyards and into Blenheim.

- Booking confirmations will be sent at the time of booking unless the booking takes place within seven days of travel. In this case booking confirmations will be sent within 48 hours (please note this is subject to availability).
- Wheelchair access (please note that collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated, however the passenger will need to be accompanied by someone who can help them to board and disembark).
- Babies and infants are required to sit on laps.
- Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
- Service animals only are allowed.
- The pick-up and drop-off points are near public transportation.
- Most travelers can be accommodated.
