Depart Akaroa for a fully guided Christchurch shore excursion including Banks Peninsular.

Itinerary
After tendering from you cruise ship to the main wharf in Akaroa make your way down to the end by the information center and your tour guide will be waiting for outside. It is important to note that getting from your ship to the wharf can take at least 20 minutes and you will need to be there by 10.15am for a 10.30am departure.
Magnificent views of Banks Peninsular as you make your way up and over the hill from Akaroa and down into Christchurch. Your first stop will be Christchurch Cathedral to view the damage caused by the 2011 earthquake and then its onto Christchurch Botanical Gardens to stroll amongst stands of established introduced as well as native trees and manicured gardens.
You then visit the small settlements of Sumner and Lyttleton before stopping at the Sign Of The Takahe for stunning views of the Southern Alps before returning back to Akaroa where, time permitting you can explore the town at your leisure before returning back to your ship.
