Your adventure combo kicks off with a guided kayak around Queen Charlotte Sound’s western arm, where you’ll experience some of the best paddling in the Marlborough Sounds. Then you’re away and exploring the shoreline, discovering a wide variety of wildlife and learning about your environs as you go.
After a few hours of exploring by kayak, you’ll arrive at the small settlement of Anakiwa, where you’ll get chance to revive and prepare for the walking arm of your tour. After receiving instructions you’ll head off independently on your 11km (3-4 hours) hike along Queen Charlotte Track to Mistletoe Bay, where you’ll be immersed in some of the most beautiful bush to be found on the entire 70km track.
On arrival at Mistletoe Bay, the 4pm water taxi will pick you up and transport you back to Picton Waterfront as you can take advantage of the pleasant boat ride to reflect on the fantastic experience you’ve had.
